Benefits to fitting a catch can are numerous and include catching oil that would normally be re circulated through the PCV emissions system through the turbo and re burnt. The reality of the matter though is that much of the oil ends up clogging the manifold and combustion chamber and is thought to be the main contributor to failures of swirl port/intake actuator motors. The catch can works by trapping the oil carried in the vapours exiting the crankcase ventilation system, which can then be disposed of.
Each can is precision machined from aircraft grade aluminium, and as standard finished in Polished Satin. We also offer specific fitting kits making fitting to all 300c engine variants simple, without the need for any specialist tools.
